About Me
What is it?
Me is a resource that that empowers the teacher and student. It’s a series of educational resources teaching people with intellectual or learning difficulties such things as showering, wiping their bottom, managing puberty changes, managing periods, maintaining healthy happy relationships, getting help if people are doing things to them that they don’t like and so much more. The resources include an interactive CD Rom, books and wall guides.
Language versions. UK and US English versions available currently
The Me CD Rom
The CD Rom uses the story-book method to teach life skills. Each story set has its own set of images, many with animation, and all with a voice-over option. Issues of personal safety are paramount. Guidance is given about safe and appropriate social interaction.
The Me Books
These use the same graphics and words as the CD Rom. They can be used to supplement the CD Rom, or as a separate resources

These use the same graphics as the CD Rom and the books
